Travelers arriving from states in the ORANGE category (above 15 average daily cases per 100,000 residents) are directed obtain a negative COVID-19 test result no more than 72 hours prior to arrival in Chicago or quarantine for a 10-day period (or the duration of their time in Chicago, whichever is shorter). This map was updated on March 9, 2021. This does not apply to individuals who are fully vaccinated (two weeks after the second dose of a two-dose vaccine or after one dose of a single-dose vaccine) and do not have symptoms.
